Are the rates real-time? How often do they update?
Rates come from a public open-source data source, updated once daily, and the page shows the date for the set in use. They reflect market reference rates suitable for everyday estimates, price comparisons, and expense conversions — not the live buy/sell price at a bank counter or payment platform.
Can I use the result as a basis for transactions?
Not recommended. These are reference rates; actual exchanges add a bank's or payment provider's spread and fees, so the executed price usually differs. For large exchanges or settlement, rely on the quote your bank or payment provider gives at the time.
Which currencies are supported?
The interface presets a dozen-plus common currencies — Chinese Yuan, US Dollar, Euro, Japanese Yen, Hong Kong Dollar, British Pound, and more — while the data source itself covers 300+ fiat and digital currencies. The first version focuses on the most common ones to keep the interface clean.
Does conversion upload my data?
The calculation runs locally in your browser and your amount is never uploaded. The tool does fetch a rate table from a public source; that request contains only currency codes, no personal information.
